Fingerless Gloves Are Where It’s At.

One of my stocking stuffers this year were fingerless wool gloves, lined with fleece…and…I have to say, they were one of the best gifts I received! I don’t think they’d be warm enough if we lived in, say, Minnesota, but for the mountains of Virginia, they are perfect. My other gloves always irritated me when I had to take them off to unlatch the coop or nesting box doors, or mess with camera buttons. With these, my fingers are free and ready to go, and I can tuck them away when they get cold. Love!

With regular gloves, I never would have been quick enough to capture the yurt wildlife enjoying the snow!

Mike picked these up locally, otherwise I’d share a source…but, keep your eyes peeled if you too are unhappy with your FINGERED gloves, since in 2013, it’s all about the fingerless glove. Take it from me. ;)

A Texas transplant who has floated from state to state, Erin finally feels at rest here in Floyd, VA. People drink out of mason jars, make their own yogurt/cheese/butter/you-name-it and hey, it might not be dry rub brisket, but the BBQ here is pretty freaking good. She has dreams of a dairy cow, a shady hammock to read and a happy dog at her side.

Wow, how quickly the landscape can change! It was nice and sunny while I was there and looks like you are back to winter wonderland! Eva and Vin look like they are having fun!

Got something to say? Go for it!
