She’s doing great, and getting more spoiled every day. A few people have met her so far, and she stole their hearts too with her hops, jumps and friendliness. Oh, and her soft fur! However, she IS very fond of getting her way. Which makes the times we go work outside kind of interesting. Because she WANTS.TO.BE.IN.YOUR.LAP!!! Now. And she’s rather emphatic about it. Not to mention, she doesn’t just settle down once she’s in your lap. No, she becomes a total jumping bean, making it impossible to get any work done. Not that I’m complaining…thanks to her cuteness.

PS. Today marks the first day we can go back to meat — and we’re celebrating with homemade spicy salmon hand rolls and shiitake rolls (plus, eda mame and miso soup). Who says you can’t eat well in the country?
